Movies @ your librarytm.

Are you going through movie withdrawal because the Movie Gallery has closed?  Visit the Townsend Public Library to get your fix.
We have about 2,100 movies on both DVD and VHS for adults and children.  Keep in mind, we are able to keep more older movies on the shelf than video stores can, so you can watch your old favorites.  But that's not all we have!  We also buy the latest releases.
If you can't find the movie you are looking for, ask us for help.  We can usually find it in our 150+ library network, and place a hold on it for you.  We can also teach you how to place your own holds from home.
When the movie you requested arrives at the Townsend Public Library, we will call you and you'll have a week to watch the movie after you've checked it out.
Please check out our movie collection.  We are open Thursdays and Wednesdays 10am-9pm; Thursday 2pm-9pm; Friday 10am-5pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
If you have any questions, please contact the Townsend Public Library at 978-597-1714.

Townsend Public Library Children's Room Staff seek the public's help.

The staff of the Children's Room of the Townsend Public Library is asking for donations of new or gently used DVD's.  If you have any that your child has outgrown or doesn't like to watch, we would be glad to have them.  They will either be added to our collection or put into our Friends of the Library Book Sale.  Thank you very much.
