The Lego Club and Lego NXT Club
Lego Club
The Lego Club , run by Bob Harrison , meets the last Tuesday of the month in the Children's Room from 6:30 - 7:15. The program allows children to come and explore the wonderful world of lego's with other interested children. A different theme is picked for each night and kids can build on that theme or build a creation of their own. After the club is over kids can put their Lego creations on display at the library for all to see until the next club is scheduled. This program is designed for Grade School children but is open to kids of all ages.

Lego NXT Club
The Lego NXT club is not meeting at this time as it is being re-designed. Announcements will be made when it returns.
The Program uses the newest Lego NXT Robotic sets to introduce kids to computer programming fundamentals. Each week there are different challenges presented , kids work in teams of two to build their Robot and program it to complete the task. This program is designed for Middle School aged children and the majority of the class is spent programming the NXT bricks using RoboLab software. We request that children not enrolled in Middle School not be signed up for the program due to the complexity of the application.
